i will try and head you in the right direction
first what you need to do is make the design for the wings, make doodles play around and see what you think looks good.
when i was first starting to make wings, this tutorial was very helpful [link] try practicing using her method her tutorial is very very good
after enough practice you should start developing your own style (don't worry it will come naturally)
if you have any other questions you can ask ^.^
play a few dress up games to get a feel of what you like
look at outfits from this site [link] for inspiration
anything can inspire you, for instance i love butterflies! i like making outfits that look like butterfly wings, flowy, graceful, etc
you need to find your style and then take it from there
remember don't be discouraged, if you can't think of something at that moment leave and come back something will definitely inspire you later on
